Nothing says Chesapeake summer like a table covered in brown paper, a pile of steamed crabs, and everyone gathered outside.
We often order from Parks and bring them back to the house to enjoy in the yard by the water. It’s as authentic as it gets—messy, fun, and something guests remember long after their stay.
Tip: Plan this for your first or second night. Once you settle in, you won’t want to leave.

This one surprises everyone.
Tucked into a quiet corner of Deale, Umai Sushi is one of those places you’d never expect to find—and then end up talking about the whole weekend. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and consistently excellent.
It’s a perfect option when you want something a little different from the usual Bay fare.
